After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Eraldo Miconi managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Aquile Azzurre's supporters rose to their feet, but Eraldo Miconi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dino Rulli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cosimo Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Velester Football Club's Dino Rulli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Grilli in the 12th minute of play. Domenico Tellini scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dino Rulli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dino Rulli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domenico Tellini went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Domenico Tellini put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Dino Rulli. When Eraldo Miconi fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Aquile Azzurre's protests and gave Eraldo Miconi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Aquile Azzurre getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Eraldo Miconi hit a great ball. In the 33rd match minute, Velester Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amos Marchesani to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 37 minutes, Simone Mihajlovič managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Aquile Azzurre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simone Mihajlovič was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Simone Mihajlovič came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the FC Aquile Azzurre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simone Mihajlovič couldn't finish the play. If Simone Mihajlovič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After 61 played minutes FC Aquile Azzurre got a freekick which was hit by Amedeo Carbonetti. Amos Marchesani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Fulvio Gabriele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domenico Tellini came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dino Rulli could save by the left post. In the 72nd minute Domenico Tellini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Rulli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dino Rulli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filippo Grilli in the 73rd minute of play. Domenico Tellinis short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Dino Rulli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dino Rulli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippo Grilli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Domenico Tellini took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Dino Rulli to make any attempt to save it. A hard shot 81 in the game by Domenico Tellini from a close distance when the talented Dino Rulli managed to make a qualified save. Velester Football Club's players were relieved. Dino Rulli was a little too slow when Domenico Tellini got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-6. In the 89th minute, Domenico Tellini reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dino Rulli. The goal made the score 0-7. Beppe Bordon made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Anselmo Pellecchia. When the match was over FC Aquile Azzurre could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Velester Football Club throughout the match.
