The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alistair White during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gavião Kyikatejê getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Alistair White hit a great ball. Terry McAngus kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Pegaso FC's Federico Ponciano tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sitthachat Jampeehom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Policarpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Federico Ponciano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sitthachat Jampeehom. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 20th minute, Bob Leckie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La Rompen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Leckie, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 23 played minutes Pegaso FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Reyes. 25 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's Bob Leckie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that La Rompen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Tancredo in the 28th minute of play. La Rompen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Leckie in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Pegaso FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Máximo Policarpio hit a great ball. When Bob Leckie came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Gavião Kyikatejê fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bob Leckie couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Gavião Kyikatejê's Jordan Robison got a free kick in the 36th minute. With a little luck, Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom got control of the ball when Máximo Policarpio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Pegaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Leckie came free, but La Rompen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Pegaso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Máximo Policarpio to maneuver through the defense. Neil McKinnon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for La Rompen. Pegaso FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jordan Robison kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Máximo Policarpio was the one to do the kick off. Sitthachat Jampeehom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Tancredo in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Tancredo in the 52nd minute of play forced Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Sitthachat Jampeehom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pegaso FC's La Rompen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Leckie in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Gavião Kyikatejê booed when Pegaso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Gong Zhen Fan in the 66th minute really tested La Rompen's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Bob Leckie came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Gavião Kyikatejê fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bob Leckie couldn't finish the play. Marco Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bob Leckie in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg La Rompen saved Pegaso FC from getting behind. In the 74th minute Bob Leckie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but La Rompen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alistair White got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Alistair White kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Sitthachat Jampeehom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Policarpio in the 79th minute of play. Davie McWhirter charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Davie McWhirter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes Gavião Kyikatejê got a freekick which was hit by Martin McComas. A collision led to Pegaso FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Marco Reyes hit a great ball. Jordan Robison kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Máximo Policarpio notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom. Sitthachat Jampeehom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pegaso FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
