The supporters of Atletico Aragua FC booed when ORIZABA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Nastasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Denis Soin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 11th minute Christian Casanande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Serafo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Urizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Gabon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Urizar made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Eloy Pacorro sent off a good shot on target. Eloy Pacorro succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Arturo Serafo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Casanande, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Flavio Urizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Gabon in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Eloy Pacorro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flavio Urizar, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Soin got free with Flavio Urizar in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 minutes, Bernabe Abella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ORIZABA F.C. and the Atletico Aragua FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bernabe Abella kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Soin in the 37th minute of play forced Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper Flavio Urizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Urizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Pacorro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Gabon came free, but Flavio Urizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Soin took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Urizar. Flavio Urizar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clemente Gabon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, ORIZABA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Oliverios to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Micael Gregorio put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Atletico Aragua FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Micael Gregorio hit a great ball. Emiliano Zaldain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaspard Izquierdo scored 4-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arturo Serafo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Arturo Serafo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspard Izquierdo. After a defensive mix-up in ORIZABA F.C.'s zone, Emiliano Zaldain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Serafo came out of the goal and Emiliano Zaldain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Urizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Oliverios, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 87 played minutes Atletico Aragua FC got a freekick which was hit by Rik Percaz. In the 89th minute, Denis Soin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ORIZABA F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Orlando Oliverios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ORIZABA F.C. had won after a very even match.
