ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Kostas Lebesis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavril Tudzharov in the 6th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Michail Panagidis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bozhin Pantov, 1-0. In the 12th minute, Panos Diamantidis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bozhin Pantov. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 20th match minute, ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermis Karasavvidis to maneuver through the defense. Biser Iskrenov took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kostas Lebesis. Kostas Lebesis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Kostas Lebesis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavril Tudzharov in the 33rd minute of the match. After 35 played minutes ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ermis Karasavvidis. 38 minutes into the game, FC Grivata's Biser Iskrenov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kostas Lebesis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 42 minutes into the match, Gavril Tudzharov notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Kostas Lebesis. Kostas Lebesis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Biser Iskrenov scored 3-4 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kostas Lebesis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Grivata were winning 3-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Biser Iskrenov to make the kick off. ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Kostas Lebesis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. from getting a goal against them. Kostas Lebesis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavril Tudzharov, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Kostas Lebesis came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Grivata's Biser Iskrenov. But to his dismay, Biser Iskrenov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-6. FC Grivata's Bozhin Pantov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michail Panagidis in the 77th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Michail Panagidis made a precise shot to the right of Bozhin Pantov. FC Grivata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michail Panagidis in the 87th minute of play forced FC Grivata's goalkeeper Bozhin Pantov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 minutes, Viktor Denchev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Grivata and the ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 played minutes FC Grivata got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Denchev. Bozhin Pantov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Verstraete in the 90th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Michail Panagidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bozhin Pantov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FC Grivata players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
