Club Atlético de Newell's Mike Little got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mike Little might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maksymilian Domaradzki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mike Little ran back to his position shaking his head. Aleksander Nocny kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Eric Broadhead took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maksymilian Domaradzki. Chopina Wejherowo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Edward Rushmere managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético de Newell's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Rushmere was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maksymilian Domaradzki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
