Hélio Meireles scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Brandin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the match, FC Snipers's Karl-Erik Sörman broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 17 played minutes FC Snipers got a freekick which was hit by Roland Haglund. Emanuel Brandin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute of the match, Karl-Erik Sörman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Frédson Freire was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Franklin Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greger Kullgren in the 38th minute of play forced Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Frédson Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Hélio Meireles made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Brandin. FC Snipers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Emanuel Brandin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Mendes in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hélio Meireles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, FC Snipers's goalkeeper Emanuel Brandin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franklin Mendes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Vinhas in the 57th minute of play forced FC Snipers's goalkeeper Emanuel Brandin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Luís Paes got free with Emanuel Brandin in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emanuel Brandin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hélio Meireles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Emanuel Brandin made a huge save. Emanuel Brandin came out and tried to block the shot, but Franklin Mendes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, Franklin Mendes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emanuel Brandin. The goal made the score 0-4. Greger Kullgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Brandin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Xiboquinha FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
