The referee showed Marcos Salvino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcos Salvino hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Barreal FC's goalkeeper Amador Frichoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Senen Sevilla. Senen Sevilla kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of MILLONARIOS FC booed when Barreal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cisco Mazule fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Frichoso having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's Cisco Mazule sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amador Frichoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barreal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Senen Sevilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
