Lothar Bannert kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Erich Pietta was a little too slow when Sami Ozan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 19th minute Otto-Stephan Keck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazhar Arısal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Jakob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazhar Arısal having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Erich Pietta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Birant Ufki. Lothar Bannert kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Mazhar Arısal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto-Stephan Keck in the 30th minute of the match. Mazhar Arısal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dante Jakob's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. The supporters of Hertha 1969 booed when PreZiDenT SaRuMaN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tayfur Maksut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sami Ozan took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erich Pietta. Erich Pietta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Utkan Kınık could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Erich Pietta made a huge save. Dante Jakob received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Mazhar Arısal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Otto-Stephan Keck to make the kick off. The supporters of PreZiDenT SaRuMaN booed when Hertha 1969 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Michelberger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tayfur Maksut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 68 minutes, Mike Dirr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hertha 1969 and the PreZiDenT SaRuMaN players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Mike Dirr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Hertha 1969 getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Mike Dirr hit a great ball. Tayfur Maksut struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Erich Pietta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PreZiDenT SaRuMaN. A collision led to Hertha 1969 getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Dante Jakob hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the game, Birant Ufki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Erich Pietta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Otto-Stephan Keck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Mazhar Arısal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sami Ozan in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erich Pietta saved Hertha 1969 from getting behind. Michael Simpson charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Simpson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th minute, Michael Simpson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mahmut Orgun fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PreZiDenT SaRuMaN's protests and gave Mahmut Orgun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Mahmut Orgun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otto-Stephan Keck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mazhar Arısal came out and tried to block the shot, but Otto-Stephan Keck slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 94th minute.
