Simão Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Deportivo Galicia's goal looked a bit too open when Luizinho Catarinense came free, but Damaso Caselles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When AllRaf EC's Luizinho Catarinense in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Galicia's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to AllRaf EC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Nilton Hoffmann hit a great ball. If Cordario Madera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Castañares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Egídio de Souza. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Brodel in the 35th minute of play forced Deportivo Galicia's goalkeeper Damaso Caselles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 played minutes Deportivo Galicia got a freekick which was hit by Lopez Arteaga. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Galicia's Cordario Madera got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Luizinho Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AllRaf EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luizinho Catarinense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simão Brodel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Galicia's Santana Arveras got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 56th minute Serafino Munaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egídio de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Galicia's Loreto Bracero got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a little luck, Deportivo Galicia's Damaso Caselles got control of the ball when Cléber Queiroz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luizinho Paraibano struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. The supporters of AllRaf EC booed when Deportivo Galicia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franko Viaña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cléber Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olavo Leite hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Serafino Munaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egídio de Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Erasmo Panero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio de Souza having to interfere. Julian Castañares charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Castañares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Galicia's Julian Castañares got a free kick in the 90th minute. Simão Brodel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damaso Caselles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Deportivo Galicia fans cheered their team off the field, for while AllRaf EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
