Radoslaw Miarka was a little too slow when Mazinho Prestes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. Régis Dante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Radoslaw Miarka made a huge save. Pankracy Hejza kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 13 minutes, Luizinho Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Romando Futebol Clube and the Astral players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Astral booed when Romando Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizinho Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Cymbal in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Romando Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gugu Proença hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Romando Futebol Clube got a corner. Astral's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Augusto Cordeiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mazinho Prestes might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radoslaw Miarka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mazinho Prestes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute Régis Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radoslaw Miarka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Régis Dante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radoslaw Miarka was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Angelo Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wincenty Rydz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astral's Radoslaw Miarka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis Dante in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Romando Futebol Clube's Eugênio Paranaense was substituted for Percival de Toledo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugênio Paranaense in the 67th minute of play forced Astral's goalkeeper Radoslaw Miarka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincenty Rydz in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of Astral booed when Romando Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 minutes, Régis Dante made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Astral's Radoslaw Miarka tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute Eugênio Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radoslaw Miarka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romando Futebol Clube's Régis Dante got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Régis Dante in the 90th minute of play forced Astral's goalkeeper Radoslaw Miarka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th match minute, Astral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigiusz Gruchacz to maneuver through the defense.
