Spectators: 188 (Terracing: 142, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gualterio Barbosa got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Rio's zone, Santo Ciceron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Vişoianu came out of the goal and Santo Ciceron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santo Ciceron kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Ionică Negrescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Raebert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ionică Negrescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Delmiro Raebert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ionică Negrescu came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Academia Rio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionică Negrescu couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goalkeeper Gabriel Vişoianu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gualterio Barbosa. 33 minutes into the game, Cirilo Florinio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia Rio the free kick. After 34 played minutes Acercate Y Patea de Lejos got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Florinio. 35 minutes into the match, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goal looked a bit too open when Ioan Oltean came free, but Delmiro Raebert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Vişoianu made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Gualterio Barbosa sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Acercate Y Patea de Lejos getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Freddy Terciero hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ionică Negrescu was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Gaizkine in the 53rd minute of play forced Academia Rio's goalkeeper Gabriel Vişoianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Vişoianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Ciceron in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Haritzeder in the 64th minute of play forced Academia Rio's goalkeeper Gabriel Vişoianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Virgilio Rubio was substituted for Santo Ciceron. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos made a substitution. Lázaro Llope replaced Amancio Gaizkine. Gabriel Vişoianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Rubio in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Gualterio Barbosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Vişoianu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Gualterio Barbosa charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gualterio Barbosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Gualterio Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ioan Oltean fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia Rio's protests and gave Ioan Oltean a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Academia Rio got a freekick which was hit by Ioan Oltean. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos fully deserved thier win.
