In the 14th minute Kevinn De Bruyne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudiu Pușcașu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octav Baldovin's late challenge caught a A.C ALDO BONZI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octav Baldovin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Octav Baldovin got a free kick in the 17th minute. 17 minutes into the match, A.C ALDO BONZI's Mario Iztal broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 21st minute, Raul Casomiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goal looked a bit too open when Kevinn De Bruyne came free, but Claudiu Pușcașu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aurelian Panțâru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Abilio hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The supporters of A.C ALDO BONZI booed when F.C CLUJ MEDICINA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Baldovin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes, A.C ALDO BONZI's Mario Iztal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudiu Pușcașu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.C ALDO BONZI reached it. After 32 played minutes F.C CLUJ MEDICINA got a freekick which was hit by Octav Baldovin. When A.C ALDO BONZI's Kevinn De Bruyne in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorato Farias in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudiu Pușcașu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Claudiu Pușcașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Farias in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gigel Bulgar made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Honorato Farias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Claudiu Pușcașu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's zone, Kevinn De Bruyne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudiu Pușcașu came out of the goal and Kevinn De Bruyne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Rufio in the 58th minute of play forced F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Claudiu Pușcașu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Claudiu Pușcașu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Iztal. Honorato Farias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorato Farias in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudiu Pușcașu saved F.C CLUJ MEDICINA from getting behind. 76 minutes into the game, Romeo Nițoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.C ALDO BONZI the free kick. In the 76th match minute, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Nițoi to maneuver through the defense. In the 79thth minute of the game Eriberto Menendo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Claudiu Pușcașu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Honorato Farias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute of the match, Honorato Farias got a very nice opportunity to score, but Claudiu Pușcașu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 89th minute, Aurelian Panțâru made a precise shot to the right of Elias Goito. A.C ALDO BONZI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.
