MANCHESTER UNITED's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dochko Mirinchev in the 4th minute. The supporters of FC Alkomaty booed when MANCHESTER UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zlatin Kiradzhiev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute Nayden Mantarkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Lukasik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MANCHESTER UNITED's Yoncho Búrdarov got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 minutes, Fabian Lemiesz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Alkomaty and the MANCHESTER UNITED players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes FC Alkomaty got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Lemiesz. 28 minutes into the game, Zlatin Kiradzhiev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Damazy Lukasik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Arhangel Duhtev managed to get in a good position for a shot. MANCHESTER UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Arhangel Duhtev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damazy Lukasik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoncho Búrdarov in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Alkomaty's goalkeeper Damazy Lukasik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alek Gaytandzhiev acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cyryl Gdowski. Ognyan Shushin kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The supporters of MANCHESTER UNITED booed when FC Alkomaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grzegorz Giertych didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Yoncho Búrdarov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damazy Lukasik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, MANCHESTER UNITED's Radul Matzov got a free kick in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maksymilian Dombrowski made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC Alkomaty's zone, Nayden Mantarkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damazy Lukasik came out of the goal and Nayden Mantarkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC Alkomaty's Maksymilian Dombrowski got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 64th match minute, FC Alkomaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukasz Skonieczny to maneuver through the defense. Alek Gaytandzhiev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maksymilian Dombrowski in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, MANCHESTER UNITED's Ognyan Shushin got a free kick in the 80th minute. Cyryl Gdowski kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. MANCHESTER UNITED's Dochko Mirinchev couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Alkomaty. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Radul Matzov took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Damazy Lukasik to make any attempt to save it.
