Elvijs Presley in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hermínio Nunes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Malmö White Knights booed when Suprs Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aparício Rebocho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Suprs Academia's Hermínio Nunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Suprs Academia from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Suprs Academia's goalkeeper Hermínio Nunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 9 played minutes, Malmö White Knights's Roby Baggio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hermínio Nunes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Malmö White Knights reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roby Baggio during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roby Baggio kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílcar Leiria in the 13th minute of play forced Malmö White Knights's goalkeeper Johnny Banks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Suprs Academia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wiliam Queiroz in the 15th minute. A nice corner shot did that Wiliam Queiroz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Johnny Banks quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Roby Baggio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Suprs Academia's Hermínio Nunes got control of the ball when Elvijs Presley tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 31 minutes Suprs Academia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evert Taube who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Malmö White Knights's Evert Taube to fire away a dangerous shot which Hermínio Nunes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hermínio Nunes was a little too slow when Elvijs Presley got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Charlie Hultin hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Elvijs Presley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hermínio Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvijs Presley in the 65th minute of play. If Elvijs Presley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Suprs Academia's Robert Dinamite was substituted for Amílcar Leiria. Suprs Academia's Herbert De Vadder was substituted for Kenneth Almstedt. Hermínio Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvijs Presley in the 71st minute of the match. Hermínio Nunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elvijs Presley's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Elvijs Presley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malmö White Knights's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvijs Presley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermínio Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elvijs Presley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermínio Nunes having to make a save. Wiliam Queiroz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Johnny Banks made a huge save. In the 86th minute, Patrik Olsman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elvijs Presley struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Hermínio Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malmö White Knights. Johnny Banks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Dinamite, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Robert Dinamite spun around in front of the goal 94 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Malmö White Knights's goal. Suprs Academia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
