Danilo Maranhenses short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Vladimir de Sena to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vladimir de Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Maranhense in the 39th minute. Danilo Maranhense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Vladimir de Sena made a huge save. Roger Myles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornel Răducanu in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 played minutes, C.R. KRAKER 81's Miromir Giec shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roger Myles came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.R. KRAKER 81 reached it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Maranhense to make the kick off. After 89 played minutes C.R. KRAKER 81 got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Răducanu. Danilo Maranhense struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Vladimir de Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Illinois Bluewaters. After a rather tough play, C.R. KRAKER 81's Miromir Giec got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Cornel Răducanu was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Illinois Bluewaters booed when C.R. KRAKER 81 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Răducanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute Luisão Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Myles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Illinois Bluewaters had played much better football throughout.
