The audience thought a goal was coming when Paolo Ruisko got free with Carlos Ramos in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute Murilo Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, SORRISO E. C.'s Carlos Ramos got control of the ball when Cüneyt Berksoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pontus Hjortberg in the 23rd minute of play forced SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Carlos Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ryszard Iwanowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was a well-played corner which Belchior Mamatov managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Carlos Ramos made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Paolo Ruisko sent off a good shot on target. Ryszard Iwanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Carlos Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Ruisko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Murilo Prestes made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, UPTEXTIL.COM's goalkeeper Mateus Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Romero. In the 54th minute, Cüneyt Berksoy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UPTEXTIL.COM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 61 minutes into the game, Josué Fontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SORRISO E. C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UPTEXTIL.COM the free kick. The supporters of UPTEXTIL.COM booed when SORRISO E. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Paolo Ruisko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UPTEXTIL.COM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 68thth minute of the game Cüneyt Berksoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SORRISO E. C.'s Carlos Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to UPTEXTIL.COM getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Paolo Ruisko hit a great ball. Carlos Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Ruisko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Ruisko came free, but Carlos Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute of the match Zé Paulo Queirós shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Ramos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. UPTEXTIL.COM fully deserved thier win.
