Cristo Senon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Przemyslaw Winnicki having to interfere. In the 40th minute Pat Matt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Misael got free with Przemyslaw Winnicki in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute Silvano Cibran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Przemyslaw Winnicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fractal FC's Juan Chayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witalis Czysty in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvano Cibran made a kick off.
