An unexpectedly hard shot by Alo Ülipikk in the 7th minute of play forced Dragões de Campo Grande's goalkeeper Ricardinho Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grimório's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sérgio Maciel in the 9th minute. Kajar Püss might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardinho Moreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kajar Püss ran back to his position shaking his head. Ricardinho Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alo Ülipikk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alo Ülipikk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ricardinho Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Dragões de Campo Grande's goal looked a bit too open when Alo Ülipikk came free, but Ricardinho Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Charles Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Wawrzyniec Niedziela. Grimório's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Paulo Trancoso to strike the kick off in the second half. Kajar Püss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ricardinho Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kajar Püss in the 56th minute of play. Konrad Värnik hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Dragões de Campo Grande's Ricardinho Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alo Ülipikk in the 62nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kajar Püss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardinho Moreira was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 88th minute of the match Tõnis Kaldvee sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardinho Moreira skillfully saved the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Grimório lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
