Özcan Balcik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. William Sommerseth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute Martin Rutsch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Sommerseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. William Sommerseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glenn Huez in the 12th minute of play. William Sommerseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Rutsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Zachary Pionek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sagene IF's William Sommerseth did a great save. 18 minutes into the match, Sagene IF's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Rutsch came free, but William Sommerseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Rutsch in the 18th minute of play forced Sagene IF's goalkeeper William Sommerseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Sommerseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Rutsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sagene IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zachary Pionek was slow to take the kick. During this time Uetendorf Wanderers's players had a chance to rest. Ivan Óbolo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sagene IF's Bernad Velicia got a free kick in the 30th minute. The corner led Uetendorf Wanderers's Zachary Pionek to fire away a dangerous shot which William Sommerseth despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ivan Óbolo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. With a little luck, Uetendorf Wanderers's David Aberle got control of the ball when Ivan Óbolo tried to sneak it across the goal line. William Sommerseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Rutsch, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the game, Özcan Balcik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. William Sommerseth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Karsten Karlsen made the kick off in the second half. William Sommerseth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Özcan Balcik's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Rutsch in the 55th minute of play forced Sagene IF's goalkeeper William Sommerseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Zachary Pionek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Sommerseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sagene IF's Ivan Óbolo got a free kick in the 61st minute. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Martin Rutsch took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for William Sommerseth to make any attempt to save it. David Aberle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Óbolo in the 66th minute of the match. William Sommerseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rutsch in the 67th minute of play. William Sommerseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özcan Balcik in the 71st minute of play. William Sommerseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özcan Balcik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. William Sommerseth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Özcan Balcik in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sagene IF's zone, Zachary Pionek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sagene IF's Oscar Bergum was substituted for Karsten Karlsen. After 80 played minutes Sagene IF got a freekick which was hit by Wang Zhen Tian. After a rather tough play, Sagene IF's Torstein Solli got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Oscar Bergum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Sommerseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özcan Balcik in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Maksymilian Pyczkowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. William Sommerseth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A sloppy throw-in by Alon LeBatelier in the 98th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sagene IF's Filip Refsland. Uetendorf Wanderers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
