An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Anıl Öveç in the 18th minute of play forced Bomseral FC's goalkeeper Benedito Talló to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kent Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedito Talló having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Machado Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bomseral FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Machado Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dick Vedholm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Bomseral FC's Benedito Talló got control of the ball when Kent Lindberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bomseral FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aleksander Gustafsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The Bomseral FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedito Talló should have stopped the shot.
