Spectators: 143 (Terracing: 108, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pietro Sales made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the game, JFSP's Flaco López nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Crişan Taffarel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Crişan Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flaco López in the 8th minute. Crişan Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pietro Sales in the 11th minute of play. Võ Gozali came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Ciclista FC's Claudio Castel. But to his dismay, Claudio Castel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciclista FC's goalkeeper Crişan Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cenan Savlet during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Ciclista FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cenan Savlet to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute of the match Claudinei Hermes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Crişan Taffarel skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pietro Sales in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Crişan Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Danilo de Queiroz made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ciclista FC's Arsenio Ganix. With a little luck, Ciclista FC's Crişan Taffarel got control of the ball when Flaco López tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flaco López got free with Crişan Taffarel in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arsenio Ganix kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Ciclista FC's Crişan Taffarel got control of the ball when Flaco López tried to sneak it across the goal line. Flaco López received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Crişan Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Võ Gozali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Castel in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Castel was the one to do the kick off. JFSP's Võ Gozali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Benedetto in the 53rd minute of play. Crişan Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flaco López in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Esteban Ignado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Võ Gozali was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ciclista FC were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after JFSP's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Esteban Ignado took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet as Manuel Hug kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Võ Gozali. That made the score 1-3 in the 62 minute of play. In the 70th minute Perivaldo Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Crişan Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pietro Sales took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Crişan Taffarel. Crişan Taffarel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The supporters of JFSP booed when Ciclista FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Benedetto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurício Pires charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurício Pires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ciclista FC booed when JFSP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Ciclista FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pietro Sales came free, but Crişan Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Crişan Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Võ Gozali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Hug, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Crişan Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
