Jacinto Rosio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valeriu Morovan got free with Vito Rezende in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valeriu Morovan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Vito Rezende skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Ming Sheng in the 36th minute of play forced Liberland's goalkeeper Vito Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Shi Ming Sheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vito Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Ming Sheng in the 42nd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Stiinta-Univ.'s Muhammet Altın was substituted for Șerban Rușanu. After 52 played minutes Stiinta-Univ. got a freekick which was hit by Virgil Oargă. 60 minutes into the match, Muhammet Altın had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vito Rezende. Liberland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Muhammet Altın was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Shi Ming Sheng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Vito Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Shi Ming Sheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Crețu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Ixaka in the 81st minute of play. Fausto Vigil hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Shi Ming Sheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Stiinta-Univ. fully deserved thier win.
