The referee ignored Flatline Zombies's protests and gave Xie Chuan Guang a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Flatline Zombies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xie Chuan Guang to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Rindlisbacher hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Flatline Zombies's zone, Jelle Knopper stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armağan Mukremin came out of the goal and Jelle Knopper tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flatline Zombies's Armağan Mukremin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jelle Knopper in the 19th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Flatline Zombies got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Imbach. When International Thunders's Jelle Knopper in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flatline Zombies's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Percival Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armağan Mukremin was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Tibor Bäuschlein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armağan Mukremin having to interfere. Armağan Mukremin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percival Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Levent Erkinay got free with Rouven Nussli in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armağan Mukremin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Costa in the 38th minute of play. Tibor Bäuschlein scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armağan Mukremin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of International Thunders booed when Flatline Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Rindlisbacher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jelle Knopper might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armağan Mukremin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jelle Knopper ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Seco made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Jelle Knopper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Flatline Zombies's goalkeeper Armağan Mukremin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 冯亦思. In the 63rd minute Tibor Bäuschlein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armağan Mukremin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rouven Nussli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Flatline Zombies's Armağan Mukremin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival Costa in the 71st minute of play. Percival Costa took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armağan Mukremin. Armağan Mukremin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After having played for 75 minutes, Percival Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. International Thunders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Percival Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th match minute, International Thunders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Biskupiak to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Flatline Zombies's Uriel Imbach sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rouven Nussli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute Flatline Zombies were awarded a corner. Uriel Imbach went to the cornerflag to take it. Uriel Imbach made a great header on Flatline Zombies's corner, it was just that International Thunders's Rouven Nussli managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Flatline Zombies booed when International Thunders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Sanguinetti didn't get a good kick on the ball. International Thunders's Rouven Nussli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Seco in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute Flatline Zombies were awarded a corner. Uriel Imbach went to the cornerflag to take it. The International Thunders supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing International Thunders would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
