Adrian Sauveur charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Sauveur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Chirculescu in the 9th minute of play forced Halcones Azules's goalkeeper Vicente Berdoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes Halcones Azules's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucrețiu Miheș who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Lucrețiu Miheș almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Halcones Azules's Vicente Berdoi did a great save. Vicente Berdoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Chirculescu in the 15th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, one of Halcones Azules:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Halcones Azules. The referee gave Paralia Athens a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lucrețiu Miheș, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Halcones Azules's Vicente Berdoi. 0-2. After 31 played minutes Paralia Athens got a freekick which was hit by Vasile Enciulescu. After a rather tough play, Halcones Azules's Genaro Mendiko got a free kick in the 40th minute. Leonard Chirculescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Genaro Mendiko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Halcones Azules's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paralia Athens the free kick. After some careless play in the Halcones Azules defense, Leonard Chirculescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Berdoi. The Halcones Azules fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Berdoi should have stopped the shot. When Leontin Apostu fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paralia Athens's protests and gave Leontin Apostu a yellow card for diving instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Vicente Berdoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Chirculescu in the 53rd minute of the match. Gelu Beșliu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Berdoi having to interfere. Vicente Berdoi was a little too slow when Leonard Chirculescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-4. Halcones Azules made a substitution. Armando Monico replaced Marco Donzel. Stelian Todericiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Vicente Berdoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Leonard Chirculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paralia Athens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Chirculescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Paralia Athens booed when Halcones Azules was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Mendiko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Genaro Mendiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
