If Benoit Van Bettenrode had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chancy Olympique's goalkeeper Alex Méret, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute Mathias Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Méret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Mathias Jonasson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Méret. Chancy Olympique's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathias Jonasson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Mathias Jonasson came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alex Méret could save by the left post. In the 25th minute of the match, Benoit Van Bettenrode tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alex Méret saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 27th match minute, Chancy Olympique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pawel Fleischer to maneuver through the defense. Chancy Olympique's Alex Méret proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Chancy Olympique from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Chancy Olympique's Alex Méret got control of the ball when Mathias Jonasson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benoit Van Bettenrode sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Chancy Olympique's goal looked a bit too open when Benoit Van Bettenrode came free, but Alex Méret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Benoit Van Bettenrode shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Méret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabián Ruiz in the 45th minute of play forced FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Radowit Trzaskoma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Chancy Olympique's Alex Méret got control of the ball when Sebastian Larsson tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Chancy Olympique made a substitution. Baldemar Prats replaced Lazlo Lauzier. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mathias Jonasson to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Radowit Trzaskoma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Kracht. Alex Méret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benoit Van Bettenrode, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benoit Van Bettenrode in the 61st minute of play forced Chancy Olympique's goalkeeper Alex Méret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Méret showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Jonasson in the 64th minute of the match. Chancy Olympique's Vladimir Weyermann was substituted for Pawel Fleischer. FA Sandtown's Dobromir Sierocki quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Christian Kracht, made in the 77th minute of the game. In the 80th minute Benoit Van Bettenrode shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Méret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Benoit Van Bettenrode ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Méret was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 88 played minutes FA Sandtown got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Larsson. Chancy Olympique's Teofil Soszka got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Radowit Trzaskoma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir Weyermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chancy Olympique players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FA Sandtown.
