A throw-in in the 5th minute of the game was made by Bernabe Abella with Denis Soin as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Agro Imortal's Aílton Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Agro Imortal from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the match, Agro Imortal's goalkeeper Aílton Fernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dante Nastasio. A collision led to Agro Imortal getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. 倪川榕 hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Eloy Pacorro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ORIZABA F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Dennis Bergkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arturo Serafo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Bergkamp in the 28th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Naldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Serafo. ORIZABA F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Naldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Agro Imortal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Arturo Serafo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Bergkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Soin in the 41st minute of play forced Agro Imortal's goalkeeper Aílton Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes of play, Agro Imortal's Dennis Bergkamp made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arturo Serafo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 48th minute, Arnaldo Naldo made a precise shot to the right of Arturo Serafo. ORIZABA F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. After the first half Agro Imortal were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Naldo made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Jonathan Etor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ORIZABA F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Agro Imortal's Aílton Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Nastasio in the 56th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dennis Bergkamp in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arturo Serafo saved ORIZABA F.C. from getting behind. Agro Imortal's Aílton Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Pacorro in the 59th minute of play. Dennis Bergkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Serafo having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Agro Imortal's Dennis Bergkamp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arturo Serafo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Agro Imortal made a substitution. Delfim da Costa replaced Dennis Bergkamp. Aílton Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Pacorro in the 73rd minute of the match. When Jonathan Etor fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ORIZABA F.C.'s protests and gave Jonathan Etor a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Etor hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Emanuel Andrade charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Andrade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Agro Imortal's Delfim da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Arturo Serafo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ORIZABA F.C. getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Jonathan Etor hit a great ball. Arturo Serafo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from 倪川榕.

The Agro Imortal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Agro Imortal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
