Isidro Amos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st match minute, Mila Doce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Houston Toney to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Gil Talavera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duncan Fielden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duncan Fielden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Talavera, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Blåvitt's Viktor Kielstedt got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Mila Doce booed when FC Blåvitt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Talavera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mila Doce's Isidro Amos shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jarl Bredberg but with some difficulty. The audience was convinced that Isidro Amos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarl Bredberg was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Mila Doce's Duncan Fielden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Öberg in the 47th minute of play. After 47 minutes of play, FC Blåvitt's Adam Öberg made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duncan Fielden was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duncan Fielden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Öberg in the 70th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Lionel Cronin put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jarl Bredberg. Gil Talavera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Duncan Fielden made a huge save. After some careless play in the Mila Doce defense, Dag Olofsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duncan Fielden. The Mila Doce fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duncan Fielden should have stopped the shot. FC Blåvitt's Staffan Sundén was substituted for Adam Öberg. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
