Wambasther van Dijk made in the 7th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Guga Senna. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind FIEL ALGUSTA's goalkeeper Raúl da Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oliver Bierhoff might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raúl da Silveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliver Bierhoff ran back to his position shaking his head. FIEL ALGUSTA's Raúl da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 12th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Raúl da Silveira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 17th minute Oliver Bierhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Oliver Bierhoff took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Raúl da Silveira to make any attempt to save it. The corner ended in Edgard de Lima almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FIEL ALGUSTA's Raúl da Silveira did a great save. Oliver Bierhoff's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raúl da Silveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match ADM Taquaras got a corner. FIEL ALGUSTA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Malcolm Westerberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edgard de Lima was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a little luck, FIEL ALGUSTA's Raúl da Silveira got control of the ball when Oliver Bierhoff tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raúl da Silveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 43rd minute. After some careless play in the FIEL ALGUSTA defense, Oliver Bierhoff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raúl da Silveira. The FIEL ALGUSTA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raúl da Silveira should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

54 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's Oliver Bierhoff sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raúl da Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 56 minutes, Oliver Bierhoff made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. FIEL ALGUSTA's Raúl da Silveira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute Oliver Bierhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes FIEL ALGUSTA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Malcolm Westerberg who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on ADM Taquaras's corner Nestor Soeiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Raúl da Silveira quite easily take care of the ball. Oliver Bierhoff took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raúl da Silveira. Raúl da Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 68 minutes into the match, FIEL ALGUSTA's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Bierhoff came free, but Raúl da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Alcântara in the 69th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Jeremias Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Moreno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Alcântara went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Áron Bódog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Raúl da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ADM Taquaras made a substitution. Enio Aparecido replaced Oliver Bierhoff. FIEL ALGUSTA's Raúl da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Oinaz in the 79th minute of play. Raúl da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. A beautiful save bye FIEL ALGUSTA's goalie prevented a goal. 94 minutes into the match, FIEL ALGUSTA's goal looked a bit too open when Áron Bódog came free, but Raúl da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Enio Aparecido notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of FIEL ALGUSTA's Raúl da Silveira. Raúl da Silveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ADM Taquaras walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
