The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Basarab Achimescu kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Jago Abasalo struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Emanuel Stanca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mandrake fc. A collision led to Mandrake fc getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Lorenzo De Pablo hit a great ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Emanuel Movileanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Movileanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Mandrake fc getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Pepe Macho hit a great ball. Elar Quero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Movileanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of -BZF- Barca de Buzau booed when Mandrake fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cugat Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Grigore Biriș dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elar Quero, 1-0. In the 26th minute of the match, Emanuel Movileanu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elar Quero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 31st minute, Mandrake fc's Lorenzo De Pablo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lorenzo De Pablo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mandrake fc protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lorenzo De Pablo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Elar Quero had in the 33rdth minute some difficulties stopping Manuel Șora's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Grigore Biriș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darius Olaru in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elar Quero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pelayo Segura was the one to do the kick off. After 61 played minutes Mandrake fc got a freekick which was hit by Duardo Reyes. Mandrake fc's Elar Quero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Șora in the 63rd minute of play. Elar Quero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Movileanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Anton Otețea was substituted for Aurel Ionașcu. Mandrake fc's Elar Quero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darius Olaru in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Emanuel Movileanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elar Quero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mandrake fc booed when -BZF- Barca de Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigore Biriș didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Manuel Șora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Mandrake fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pepe Macho to maneuver through the defense. Elar Quero came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Manuel Șora. But to his dismay, Manuel Șora quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 82 minutes into the game, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Emanuel Movileanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elar Quero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Manuel Șora managed to get in a good position for a shot. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Șora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elar Quero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Grigore Biriș got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 94 played minutes -BZF- Barca de Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Biriș. After recieving a nice pass, Mandrake fc's Duardo Reyes tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. -BZF- Barca de Buzau had played much better football throughout.
