The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Pérez got free with Ole Bentin in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Mäusekicker's Mads Kollar in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 15th minute of the match Martin Fränkel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergio Gutierrez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jörn Petershagen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ole Bentin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Paredes in the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Friedrich Volz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the game, Beto Centella was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mäusekicker the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Centella to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th match minute, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Gomez to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Mads Kollar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jonathan De Diego fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s protests and gave Jonathan De Diego a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan De Diego hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The supporters of Mäusekicker booed when ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Mendieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Fränkel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sergio Gutierrez. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 46 minutes ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Fränkel who took care of the corner kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jörn Petershagen made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jörn Petershagen in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Gutierrez saved ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ from getting behind. Sergio Gutierrez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörn Petershagen's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Jörn Petershagen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mäusekicker's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörn Petershagen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Gutierrez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 63 played minutes Mäusekicker got a freekick which was hit by Friedrich Volz. The supporters of Mäusekicker booed when ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Calderón didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mäusekicker's Martin Fränkel got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sergio Gutierrez made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Mads Kollar sent off a good shot on target. Mads Kollar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jaime Calderón hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, Jörn Petershagen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sergio Gutierrez. Jörn Petershagen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Mads Kollar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Sergio Gutierrez made a huge save. The ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mäusekicker were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
