Yakup Tanören showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joost Rummens, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Anthonio Villyn came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Osmangazi's Eyüp Üstündağ. But to his dismay, Eyüp Üstündağ quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Osmangazi getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Eyüp Üstündağ hit a great ball. When Tümer Ülküm fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Osmangazi's protests and gave Tümer Ülküm a yellow card for diving instead. Tümer Ülküm hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Anthonio Villyn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yakup Tanören made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Van hoegaerde in the 27th minute of play. The KFC Paal-Tervant fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when KFC Paal-Tervant's Charl Delcroix looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. KFC Paal-Tervant's Anthonio Villyn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Paal-Tervant from getting a goal against them. Anthonio Villyn was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Ahmet Asım Okman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ahmet Asım Okman really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. In the 44th minute Eyüp Üstündağ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthonio Villyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthonio Villyn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eyüp Üstündağ showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 46 minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charl Delcroix to make the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Osmangazi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! After 54 minutes Osmangazi's goalkeeper Yakup Tanören managed, with a little bit of luck, save Bram Van Wontergem's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Eyüp Üstündağ took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anthonio Villyn. Anthonio Villyn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. After some careless play in the Osmangazi defense, Kim Van hoegaerde kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yakup Tanören. The Osmangazi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yakup Tanören should have stopped the shot. 64 minutes into the match, Osmangazi's goal looked a bit too open when Arsene Vermeulen came free, but Yakup Tanören reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charl Delcroix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Yakup Tanören made a huge save. Anthonio Villyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Emin Kayacan in the 69th minute of the match. Tümer Ülküm hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Eyüp Üstündağ managed to get in a good position for a shot. Osmangazi's supporters rose to their feet, but Eyüp Üstündağ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anthonio Villyn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anthonio Villyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Asım Okman in the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of KFC Paal-Tervant booed when Osmangazi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Asım Okman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anthonio Villyn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tümer Ülküm went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. After 90 played minutes Osmangazi got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Arif Okutan. Yakup Tanören made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charl Delcroix in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eyüp Üstündağ in the 93rd minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Anthonio Villyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Eyüp Üstündağ notched a goal, 7-2, to the right of KFC Paal-Tervant's Anthonio Villyn. Anthonio Villyn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as KFC Paal-Tervant's Arsene Vermeulen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yakup Tanören. That made the score 7-3 after 99 minutes of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the KFC Paal-Tervant players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Osmangazi.
