The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Sundens BK's Mark Sandell got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Bruno Lacorte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Leon Gacki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Mellberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 minutes Sundens BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Radomir Nieuzyla who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Radomir Nieuzyla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sundens BK's Axel Mellberg did a great save. Leon Gacki hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Tomasz Boruta scored 1-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Axel Mellberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomasz Boruta to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Ludwig Björk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the game, Bruno Lacorte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sundens BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bitcoin Elbląg the free kick. A collision led to Sundens BK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Bruno Lacorte hit a great ball. Axel Mellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Gacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Fernando Borges's late challenge caught a Bitcoin Elbląg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Borges helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Sundens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Borges to maneuver through the defense. Sundens BK's Lukas Aspengren got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lukas Aspengren in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teobald Ciempa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maciej Orling charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maciej Orling the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 87 minutes into the match, Ludwig Björk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teobald Ciempa. Bitcoin Elbląg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ludwig Björk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Fernando Borges got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 94 played minutes Sundens BK got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Borges. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

After 98 minutes of play Sundens BK's Bruno Lacorte was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 105th minute, Leon Gacki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bitcoin Elbląg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4.
