In the 15th match minute, Arquímedes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Xabat to maneuver through the defense. Bernardino Rosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Takis Oikonomopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Arquímedes's Qi Yu Yong got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Arquímedes's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Preuss came free, but Artemio Ikatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artemio Ikatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birk Vestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The Nonatos United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Artemio Ikatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim de Barros in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artemio Ikatz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Nonatos United's Artemio Ikatz threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fausto Preuss, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
