Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ola Rydberg made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Ola Rydberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arye Suryoye's supporters rose to their feet, but Ola Rydberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronnie Meck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arye Suryoye's goalkeeper Kenneth Käcker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, U21 Sweden's Balthazar Bär nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenneth Käcker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After having played for 17 minutes, Norberto Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arye Suryoye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, U21 Sweden's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Rydberg came free, but Ronnie Meck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Balthazar Bär had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ola Rydberg kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Ola Rydberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ronnie Meck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Rydberg in the 34th minute of play. Ola Rydberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronnie Meck having to make a save. In the 37th minute Ola Rydberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Meck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, U21 Sweden's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Rydberg came free, but Ronnie Meck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Arye Suryoye's zone, Balthazar Bär stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Käcker came out of the goal and Balthazar Bär tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torbjörn Nilsson was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Arye Suryoye's Rickard Vibjörnsson got a free kick in the 61st minute. U21 Sweden's Ivar Nickov was substituted for Balthazar Bär. A collision led to Arye Suryoye getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Rickard Vibjörnsson hit a great ball. After 63 played minutes, U21 Sweden's Ivar Nickov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kenneth Käcker came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in U21 Sweden reached it. After 68 minutes of play, U21 Sweden's Ivar Nickov made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenneth Käcker was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the match, Arye Suryoye's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Nickov came free, but Kenneth Käcker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Sweden's zone, Ola Rydberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronnie Meck came out of the goal and Ola Rydberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the game, Arye Suryoye's Ola Rydberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronnie Meck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Kenneth Käcker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivar Nickov's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Ronnie Meck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Rydberg in the 92nd minute of play. If Ola Rydberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenneth Käcker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Nickov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U21 Sweden were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Arye Suryoye for a fine match.
