After a defensive mix-up in Hooden Hotspurs BK's zone, Ramon Martino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arman Hernström came out of the goal and Ramon Martino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the game, Victor Paskal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arman Hernström. Victor Paskal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Club Atlético Ituzaingó getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ergün Asalet hit a great ball. Duarte de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Isaksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Paskal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arman Hernström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

The supporters of Hooden Hotspurs BK booed when Club Atlético Ituzaingó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Banga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 played minutes Hooden Hotspurs BK got a freekick which was hit by Mark Willig. Arman Hernström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Peter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arman Hernström came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Alfonso Peter. But to his dismay, Alfonso Peter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Arman Hernström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Frechoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Jaime Frechoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Jorge Comas in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hooden Hotspurs BK's goalie prevented a goal. Anders Dalkvist's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Ituzaingó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anders Dalkvist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hooden Hotspurs BK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. In the 95th minute, Hooden Hotspurs BK's Kjell Caspersson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Duarte de Sena. Duarte de Sena yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hooden Hotspurs BK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Atlético Ituzaingó.
