Espen Granerud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdurrahman Aslan in the 14th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, Hahay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krzysztof Soroka to maneuver through the defense. JUNICO Ełk's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Witalis Tamulewicz scored to the left of an out of position Ulryk Tomporowski, making the score, 1-1. Abdurrahman Aslan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Espen Granerud read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. If Abdurrahman Aslan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 played minutes JUNICO Ełk got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo Pontes.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arkadiusz Walec to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Hahay's goal looked a bit too open when Abdurrahman Aslan came free, but Espen Granerud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulryk Tomporowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witalis Tamulewicz in the 59th minute of play.
