Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Sílvio Penha successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sílvio Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Zemantauskas FC booed when Clube Atl. Taquaritinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo Queraria didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Zemantauskas FC's Guga Sá got a free kick in the 13th minute. Zemantauskas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Ronaldo Queraria scored to the left of an out of position Sílvio Penha, making the score, 2-0. Vitório Soeiro's late challenge caught a Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vitório Soeiro helped the player get up and apologised. Carlos de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Germano Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Zemantauskas FC's Sílvio Penha got control of the ball when Ronaldo Queraria tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Tanush Çarçani slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sílvio Penha. That made the score 3-0 after 32 minutes of play. Tanush Çarçani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Sílvio Penha made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tanush Çarçani in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sílvio Penha saved Zemantauskas FC from getting behind. 38 minutes into the game, Aílton Linhares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zemantauskas FC the free kick. Aílton Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos de Amorim in the 43rd minute of play forced Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Germano Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Zemantauskas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guto Campidelis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Taquaritinga's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
