Estrellas de Caballito's Jaime Venceslao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asteri Reganado in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Vanadio F.C. booed when Estrellas de Caballito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Refugio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Venceslao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eden Hazar in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Honrio Izarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Venceslao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honrio Izarra made a kick off. Ciriaco Eneko charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Vanadio F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a rather tough play, Estrellas de Caballito's Ciriaco Eneko got a free kick in the 68th minute. Vanadio F.C.'s Marin Beytia was substituted for Michael Curiel. After 69 played minutes Estrellas de Caballito got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Eneko. Jaime Venceslao came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Vanadio F.C.'s Honrio Izarra. But to his dismay, Honrio Izarra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Frutos Cubas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Romero went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Luis Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frutos Cubas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Montrelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Estrellas de Caballito's Ciriaco Eneko got a free kick in the 96th minute. Vanadio F.C. made a substitution. Ernesto Santin replaced Asteri Reganado. In the 97th match minute, Estrellas de Caballito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Eneko to maneuver through the defense. Estrellas de Caballito's Jaime Venceslao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorencio Erosa in the 99th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Estrellas de Caballito were victorious despite being under pressure from Vanadio F.C. for much of the match.
