Ovidio Roland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute of the match ITAFUT 4EVER got a corner. Intimos de Reynoso's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led ITAFUT 4EVER's Jean-Paul Møffelmand to fire away a dangerous shot which Ovidio Roland despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Intimos de Reynoso's goalkeeper Ovidio Roland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half ITAFUT 4EVER were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Meder Muños to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Portugal came free, but Ovidio Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavius Postelnicescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmo Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lope Quijana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Jardel Baggio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ITAFUT 4EVER played a much better game than Intimos de Reynoso and deserved their victory. The Intimos de Reynoso players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
