The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Scrotum Kickers FC's Simon Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Tolsson in the 7th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Roy Sundberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KD Stiger and the Scrotum Kickers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to KD Stiger getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Roy Sundberg hit a great ball. KD Stiger's Roy Sundberg was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 23rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Roy Sundberg struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Simon Källberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KD Stiger. 29 minutes into the match, Scrotum Kickers FC's goalkeeper Simon Källberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Tolsson. Simon Källberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Sundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Simon Källberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Christoffersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Johnny Mattsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Roy Sundberg in the 37th minute really tested Simon Källberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jack Tolsson was the one to do the kick off. KD Stiger's Jack Tolsson got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustaf Rudberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frans Henriksson in the 56th minute. Sebastian Simonsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gustaf Rudberg. KD Stiger's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 61 played minutes KD Stiger got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Offendahl. Manfred Friberger kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 71 played minutes KD Stiger got a freekick which was hit by Vilgot Sandberg. 72 minutes into the match, Scrotum Kickers FC's Sebastian Simonsson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. KD Stiger's Gustaf Rudberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Henriksson in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Jack Tolsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KD Stiger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jack Tolsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute, Scrotum Kickers FC's Manfred Friberger seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Manfred Friberger the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Scrotum Kickers FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Manfred Friberger had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Scrotum Kickers FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KD Stiger:s goal. Simon Källberg had in the 81stth minute some difficulties stopping Roy Sundberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jack Tolsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Källberg having to interfere. Roy Sundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Simon Källberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Scrotum Kickers FC booed when KD Stiger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Offendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. KD Stiger were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Scrotum Kickers FC for a fine match.
