Serafino Urko succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 29th playminute. 33 minutes into the game, Granville's Gómez Cruzado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. A nice corner shot did that Petru Văidianu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Başar Öztarhan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cornel Cudalb didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chi-Chi Branca went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Granville's Pablo Sanson was substituted for Jaime Oskarbi. Serafino Urko ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th match minute, Granville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chi-Chi Branca to maneuver through the defense. Granville's Generoso Eder managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Emilian Crușeveanu in the 88 minute of the game. Cornel Cudalb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chi-Chi Branca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chi-Chi Branca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Cornel Cudalb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Granville were the better team. Granville's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
