Emanuel Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Håkansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Ricardo Martini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Joensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes Atletico Sweds got a freekick which was hit by Henric Casas. Leonel Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. If Kenneth Alberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christer Joensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Martini, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Bernt Hedström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Emanuel Ramalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Atletico Sweds's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson Paulista came free, but Christer Joensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christer Joensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Martini in the 44th minute of play. Atletico Sweds's Christer Joensson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Sweds from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ove Håkansson made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Atletico Sweds's Bernt Hedström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emanuel Ramalho. That made the score 2-1 after 52 minutes of play. Christer Joensson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Beto Martini went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Ove Håkansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Ramalho having to interfere. In the 66th minute Ove Håkansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Atletico Sweds's Bernt Hedström in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beto Martini MZ 20 years's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Martini in the 82nd minute of play forced Atletico Sweds's goalkeeper Christer Joensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christer Joensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Carlos Marquez in the 83rd minute of the match. Christer Joensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Martini, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Christer Joensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Martini in the 86th minute of play. When Váldson Paulista fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beto Martini MZ 20 years's protests and gave Váldson Paulista a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute, Váldson Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Beto Martini MZ 20 years's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Håkansson came free, but Emanuel Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Váldson Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 95th minute of the game Christiano Toledo made a throw-in which Ricardo Martini played forward. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Beto Martini MZ 20 years fully deserved thier win.
