An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Benítez in the 13th minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Tim Wiese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute of the match Mazaredo AFC got a corner. SV Bad Harzburg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Americo Macario ran over to the corner to take the kick. Americo Macario made a great header on Mazaredo AFC's corner, it was just that SV Bad Harzburg's Tim Wiese managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 17th minute, Mazaredo AFC's Mariano Videl seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mariano Videl the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mazaredo AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mariano Videl had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of SV Bad Harzburg booed when Mazaredo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Videl didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mazaredo AFC's zone, Mark Elzer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Kelemen came out of the goal and Mark Elzer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Americo Macario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute SV Bad Harzburg were awarded a corner. Mark Elzer went to the cornerflag to take it. Mark Elzer made a great header on SV Bad Harzburg's corner, it was just that Mazaredo AFC's Victorino Kelemen managed to reach the ball for a save. Roswin Schön's late challenge caught a Mazaredo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Wiese made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, SV Bad Harzburg's Éthan Pichard got a free kick in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Gaur came free, but Tim Wiese reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, SV Bad Harzburg's Tim Wiese got control of the ball when Teodoro Monico tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Teodoro Monico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 57 minutes, Teodoro Monico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mazaredo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Monico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Lucas Gaur notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of SV Bad Harzburg's Tim Wiese. Tim Wiese was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tim Wiese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Monico, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Welf Heinlein had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victorino Kelemen. Mazaredo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Welf Heinlein was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The corner led SV Bad Harzburg's Mark Elzer to fire away a dangerous shot which Victorino Kelemen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Roswin Schön kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Americo Macario, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Teodoro Monico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tim Wiese having to make a save. In the 84th minute Teodoro Monico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Wiese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lars Schira fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Bad Harzburg's protests and gave Lars Schira a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SV Bad Harzburg's Lars Schira got a free kick in the 87th minute. Victorino Kelemen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éthan Pichard in the 91st minute of the match. When the match was over Mazaredo AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SV Bad Harzburg throughout the match.
