The audience was convinced that Jesper Håkansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Runeberg was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Norberto Renteria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Norberto Renteria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 73rd minute Reine Gudmundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Renteria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, De Ontembare Leeuwen's goal looked a bit too open when Reine Gudmundsson came free, but Norberto Renteria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Runeberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Many of De Ontembare Leeuwen's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. De Ontembare Leeuwen may have spent more time on the ball, but Brutal DeLuxe were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
