The supporters of Los Muchachos del 86 booed when Rönnöfors FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olimpiu Mirciulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Magne Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Bernal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Per Tunström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Delbridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Fagerberg in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roland Delbridge saved Los Muchachos del 86 from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Fagerberg came free, but Roland Delbridge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Fagerberg in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roland Delbridge saved Los Muchachos del 86 from getting behind. Rönnöfors FF were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Los Muchachos del 86's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Per Stenberg took the corner. 23 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Fagerberg came free, but Roland Delbridge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Henry Fagerberg came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Rönnöfors FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Fagerberg couldn't finish the play. Roland Delbridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 37th minute of play. In the 44thth minute of the game Henry Fagerberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Muchachos del 86's Roland Delbridge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Magne Gunnarsson made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Fabio Bencivenni sent off a good shot on target. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Rönnöfors FF from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Rönnöfors FF made a substitution. Torsten Åman replaced Olimpiu Mirciulescu. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henry Fagerberg made a kick off. Per Stenberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Roland Delbridge made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, Ricardo-Enrique Bochini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Magne Gunnarsson. Rönnöfors FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo-Enrique Bochini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Los Muchachos del 86's Ricardo-Enrique Bochini got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Per Tunström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roland Delbridge was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Marco Maurino hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Per Tunström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Roland Delbridge made a huge save. Per Tunström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roland Delbridge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Roland Delbridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Tunström in the 81st minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Per Tunström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roland Delbridge. Los Muchachos del 86's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per Tunström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rönnöfors FF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
