Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zeca Fernandez started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeca Fernandez got free with Dante Fernendo in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Rocha in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Denis Bonadona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Barovero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 18th minute Gabriel Efraim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Fernendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes Sporting de Gijón's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adolfo Gombal who took care of the corner kick. Lobos de Carelia's Adolfo Gombal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Fernendo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dante Fernendo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Efraim's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Zeca Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Dante Fernendo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobos de Carelia. In the 34thth minute of the game Denis Bonadona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lobos de Carelia's Marcelo Barovero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Fernendo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeca Fernandez in the 36th minute. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sporting de Gijón's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adolfo Gombal was slow to take the kick. During this time Lobos de Carelia's players had a chance to rest. 38 minutes into the game, Gabriel Efraim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dante Fernendo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Bonadona came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sporting de Gijón were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Lobos de Carelia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saturnino Curcio took the corner. The corner led Sporting de Gijón's Saturnino Curcio to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcelo Barovero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The wind increased when Matias Bilintx made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sporting de Gijón getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Denis Bonadona hit a great ball. Dante Fernendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Efraim, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Saturnino Curcio notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Lobos de Carelia's Marcelo Barovero. Marcelo Barovero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th minute Matias Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ademar Rocha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Marcelo Barovero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lobos de Carelia's Prospero Inguma was substituted for Vladimiro Millano. Sporting de Gijón's Alejandro Rufo was substituted for Saturnino Curcio. Adolfo Gombal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Fernendo having to make a save. 77 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's Zeca Fernandez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Fernendo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th match minute, Sporting de Gijón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Dominix to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 82 minutes, Matias Bilintx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting de Gijón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Bilintx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Gabriel Efraim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lobos de Carelia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Alejandro Rufo took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Barovero. Marcelo Barovero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. 88 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Bilintx came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Matias Bilintx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Marcelo Barovero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 90 played minutes Sporting de Gijón got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Rufo. Dante Fernendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Efraim in the 96th minute of play.
