Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Silverio Ofelio took the kick off in the first half of the match. 0-1 became the score in the 3rd minute when Silverio Ofelio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Kanalla F.C's goalkeeper Alonso Suloaga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Victoro. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Fabricio Inocente got a free kick in the 8th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Gabriel Victoro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alonso Suloaga, 1-1. A collision led to Kanalla F.C getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Rene Odon hit a great ball. Kanalla F.C were furious when Nils-Emil Vennerkvist was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 24 minutes into the game, one of Kanalla F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Alonso Suloaga, was totally fooled by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Akamas Farmakis, who 26 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of Deportivo Pomelo Nenene booed when Kanalla F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Incendio Aranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kanalla F.C's Alonso Suloaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Victoro in the 31st minute of play. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bernardo Eladio was slow to take the kick. During this time Kanalla F.C's players had a chance to rest. 44 minutes into the match, Kanalla F.C's Hao Quan Kuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugenio Nesto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arturo Lopez hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Silverio Ofelio struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Eugenio Nesto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kanalla F.C. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Lopez made a kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Kanalla F.C's Silverio Ofelio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugenio Nesto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. After 61 minutes of play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Arturo Lopez made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alonso Suloaga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alonso Suloaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Beltrame in the 66th minute of the match. Eugenio Nesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hao Quan Kuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Arturo Lopez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alonso Suloaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Eugenio Nesto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Pomelo Nenene from getting a goal against them. Siro Nuno kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ciro Tello was substituted for Arturo Lopez. Eugenio Nesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Pacorro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Nesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Pacorro in the 95th minute of play. Alonso Suloaga came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ahmet Paşa. But to his dismay, Ahmet Paşa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Kanalla F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
