Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomáš Javorčík took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute Rigoberto Bernal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Garaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard Zedník in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Aires saved Margarita from getting behind. Tomáš Javorčík received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Danilo Aires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to AFK Petržalka getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Peter Hlinka hit a great ball. If Richard Zedník had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Tomáš Javorčík. Yahya Ongu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Rigoberto Bernal made a precise shot to the right of Filip Garaj. AFK Petržalka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as AFK Petržalka's Richard Zedník slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Danilo Aires. That made the score 1-1 after 40 minutes of play. Justino Aballe got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Evelio Medardo. Richard Zedník could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Danilo Aires made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 53rd minute Rigoberto Bernal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Garaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When AFK Petržalka's Richard Zedník in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Margarita's goalie prevented a goal. Tomáš Javorčík struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Danilo Aires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFK Petržalka. 64 minutes into the match, Richard Zedník notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Margarita's Danilo Aires. Danilo Aires was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomáš Javorčík in the 66th minute of play forced Margarita's goalkeeper Danilo Aires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Aires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Zedník, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Viktor Srnka fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFK Petržalka's protests and gave Viktor Srnka a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Margarita booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Srnka didn't get a good kick on the ball. AFK Petržalka's attentive Viktor Srnka managed to snatch the ball when Justino Aballe made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. Filip Garaj made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evelio Medardo in the 79th minute. A collision led to AFK Petržalka getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Jozef Cibulka hit a great ball. Adan Lorencio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Richard Zedník blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danilo Aires having to make a save. Danilo Aires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Zedník, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, AFK Petržalka's Filip Garaj got control of the ball when Evelio Medardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Margarita's Rigoberto Bernal got a free kick in the 89th minute. Danilo Aires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Zedník in the 90th minute of play. Viktor Srnka hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Margarita players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AFK Petržalka.
