The supporters of DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO booed when AZURDUY F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Pudes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josef Poirier got free with Generoso Bemabe in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th match minute, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Poirier to maneuver through the defense. Vito Lange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Ramone in the 12th minute of the match. Vito Lange made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Weterio in the 15th minute of play. Generoso Bemabe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Drew Tobin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Drew Tobin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Generoso Bemabe. Drew Tobin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, AZURDUY F.C.'s Angelo Ortle got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Arnoldo Curcio hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Victor Flores ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Bemabe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Generoso Bemabe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A collision led to AZURDUY F.C. getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Gonzalo Pudes hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in AZURDUY F.C.'s zone, Drew Tobin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Bemabe came out of the goal and Drew Tobin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vito Lange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Weterio in the 38th minute of the match. Vito Lange made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Ramone in the 39th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Curcio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Vito Lange was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Generoso Bemabe made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Josef Poirier sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Curcio to make the kick off. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Drew Tobin got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the AZURDUY F.C. defense, Victor Flores kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Generoso Bemabe. The AZURDUY F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Generoso Bemabe should have stopped the shot. Josef Poirier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Generoso Bemabe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Generoso Bemabe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Flores in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to AZURDUY F.C. getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Artemio Ramone hit a great ball. Victor Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Bemabe having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Angelo Ortle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in AZURDUY F.C.'s zone, Victor Flores stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Bemabe came out of the goal and Victor Flores tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper Vito Lange had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejo Weterio. Alejo Weterio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vito Lange firmly grabbed it by the left post. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Vito Lange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Curcio in the 83rd minute of play. Generoso Bemabe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Flores in the 88th minute of the match. Vito Lange was a little too slow when Arnoldo Curcio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 3-2. If Josef Poirier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AZURDUY F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
