With a little luck, Bembenfica's Alípio Rego got control of the ball when David Liberato tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th minute Vitor Roque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Infante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frederico Bittencourt hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes Bembenfica got a freekick which was hit by Qu Ting Ming. David Liberato might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alípio Rego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Liberato ran back to his position shaking his head. Jorge Infante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tenho Med in the 28th minute of the match. Bembenfica's goalkeeper couldn't reach when David Liberato 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. David Liberato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Alípio Rego made a huge save. LaZuli's Jorge Infante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitor Roque in the 35th minute of play. After 39 minutes, Porfírio Espírito Santo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bembenfica and the LaZuli players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jorge Infante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitor Roque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vitor Roque was the one to do the kick off. If Zeus Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachariasz Dunajski hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Vitor Roque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to LaZuli getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Emanuel Lencastre hit a great ball. Qu Ting Ming recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Bembenfica's Jorge Infante threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zeus Duarte, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 62nd minute of the match Bembenfica got a corner. LaZuli's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Qu Ting Ming ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Bembenfica's corner Zeus Duarte fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jorge Infante quite easily take care of the ball. Zeus Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jorge Infante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Infante made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Zeus Duarte sent off a good shot on target. Alípio Rego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Liberato, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. David Liberato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jorge Infante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitor Roque in the 75th minute. In the 83rd match minute, Bembenfica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhang Ting Guo to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute David Liberato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alípio Rego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Porfírio Espírito Santo made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by LaZuli's Henrique Durães. Bembenfica were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
